Being a Costa Blanca photographer has may benefits. With constant sunshine and mild temperatures, photography is so much easier in Spain. I really enjoy being based on the Mediterranean, and spend a lot of my leisure time in the sea.

As a photographer, I get contracted for many interesting projects. One of my favourite jobs was photographing a luxury yacht on the Mediterranean in Altea.

The Yacht was moored in the port of Altea. It was a beautiful summer’s day and the bay was really calm which really enhanced the photography. We anchored near the lighthouse in Albir, Alicante. Armed with my cameras I circled the yacht in a dingy, photographing every aspect of this stunning vessel. The client was Nordhavn, a luxury yacht builder.

I was also contracted to photograph the interior of the yacht as well as the engine room. It was a two day shoot, this gives me time to review my photography and ensure that I have taken all the photos needed. The second day’s photo shoot was to capture the yacht in a different light setting, as well as photograph the details of the yacht. With these extra photographs, I was able to deliver a really comprehensive portfolio to my client.
