Professional Photographer Spain – corporate event photography and video production for the National Auditorium in Alicante.

Combining all of the photographic and video production services I offer into one project is a rewarding challenge, especially for such a prestigious client as the National Auditorium in Alicante.

Professional Photographer Spain

The first part of the photography assignment was to photograph the space:

The Auditorium of the Alicante Provincial Council “ADDA” is located in the centre of the Alicante capital, and has become one of the city’s architectural icons. It is a building with a modern design and simple lines, with a volumetrically solid exterior and a resounding presence. The texture and colour of exterior materials, such as the whiteness of limestone, are identified as part of our popular architecture.

The building is developed around a large hall at triple height, supported by the foyer as a kind of distributor on the ground floor which acts as its nerve centre. At the back of this hall there is a passageway that runs through the building from north to south on all its floors which connects the private areas (administrative and artists) with the public ones.

The ADDA has 10 rooms with a total of 28,580 m². All of which I photographed and created a portfolio for them to use on their website and print material. Photographing each of the uniquely different spaces was a challenge. Each area was completely different, some lighting was natural, others were LED or tungsten lights. Essentially it was very similar to a large real estate photography assignment.

One of my photographs was uploaded by the Adda to google maps and is now the display photo when searching for the auditorium in Alicante.

Corporate and event photography

I am regularly commissioned to photograph corporate events at the auditorium, ranging from medical conferences to press conferences. I have even been commissioned by the auditorium to create a portfolio of Alicante photography. This required me to visit some of Alicante landmarks such as the castle, the Alicante market, as well as the Alicante harbour.

Concert photography

One of my favourite photographic assignments is to photograph the ADDA Simfonica orchestra when they perform live at the Auditorium. It is a huge challenge as the concert lighting is very subdued and I am not allowed to use any flash photography. Most of the concerts are recorded and I am faced with the added challenge of not making any noise as I move around.

Video Production Services

The second part of the assignment was to produce various video for the client. As mentioned I am not only a professional photographer, I am also a video producer working for the ADDA. One of the promotional videos I produced for them was a corporate promotional video of the auditorium space. I also had to include footage of Alicante, to promote the Costa Blanca location, including  footage of the Mediterranean. This was to highlight all of the benefits of hosting events at the auditorium.

Samuel Barber – Adagio for Strings

The second video I produced was a rehearsal I recorded in Alicante at the National Auditorium. Performed by the ADDA Symphonic Orchestra. A four camera production and post production service. The final video was used on their social media channels to promote the concert and the orchestra.
