Costa Blanca Wedding Photography – creating a portfolio
Costa Blanca Wedding Photography
Creating a portfolio for a wedding planner. An unusual wedding photography assignment without bride & groom. I was contacted by a wedding planner from Altea. She managed a stunning villa on the Costa Blanca and had listed it for events such as weddings and weekend retreats. The villa was set in the foothills of the Bernia and had ample garden space. As a wedding photographer I would always visit the location beforehand and take photos of all the spaces. This would help when I am planning the wedding shoot, as well as an important backup if I need to adjust any photos. Here is an interesting article about photographing the location beforehand.
There were two days of photography, the first was a daytime shoot. There was a wedding taking place that evening and she wanted my photography to show off the place, the ambience and the decoration. That was followed by an evening photo shoot. Some friends were invited to add ambience to the photos. Essentially both sets of photos were for her website, these were to promote the location.
The villa had ample ground and could easily accommodate over 100 guests.
The pool area of the villa is beautifully set in natural bowl, with stunning views of the Bernia mountains behind.
